VIDEO EDITOR/DIGITAL MEDIA INTERN

NBK is a multi brand business that includes personal brands, and other professional businesses. We are looking for an ambitious video and digital media intern that can help capture, produce, post produce, and deliver media across various subject matters and different platforms. You are talented, hungry, humble, and excited to build your craft through live filming, video editing, and image / art creations for all our brands and across broad platforms. Interns are required to work 20 hours a week at our offices in Roswell, Ga for a minimum of 10 weeks. This internship is unpaid, but barter and other options can be made available in a value exchange for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Have the potential to deliver videos and photos that succinctly and clearly tell the desired story
  • Ability to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound & other elements that convey a quality production value and a level of technical sophistication
  • Experience with iMovie, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of digital videography and photography cameras and equipment

Requirements:

  • An intermediate knowledge of video production and editing
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of post-production workflow
  • Good knowledge of contemporary cameras, file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in a post workflow
  • Must be extremely organized and able to successfully reach multiple deadlines at once
  • Comfortable with Google Apps suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc)
  • Audio post production experience is a plus (recording, mixing, scoring, etc)
  • The ability to communicate needs in a positive and productive fashion
  • Knowledge of video compression for interactive and online programs
  • Execute and provide input on the digital plan, brainstorm and storyboard creative concepts for videos, including promotional campaign videos and internal videos
  • Assist in the end-to-end process from storyboarding to logistics to shooting to editing and publishing
  • Post produce all videos short (<30 seconds) and long form (30 seconds to 5 mins) for multiple platforms on a rapid schedule
  • Follow along and capture vlog content of brand, team, and founder within professional space; fitness space, and in person events
  • Film video and shoot photographs in studio and field environments
  • Use existing original and stock footage to produce new videos
  • Contribute to mixing and editing to create polished and engaging videos
  • Publish videos primarily to the web and other social media channels
  • Ability to work with the equipment on-hand: Canon (DSLR camera), iphones, mic, lights, tripods
  • Own necessary computer and digital production creation tools to complete creative work (not required, but require advance notice prior to hiring)

Creative Writing & Marketing Internship

We are a scrappy young business that is deploying content in several categories – personal brand of our founder; fitness studio; remote clients, and associated brands. We publish 1-2 articles a day + dozens of social content across these brands, and looking for someone that is driven and looking to build on this content and these personalities. We are in Roswell GA but are open to up to 30% remote work to fit a life balance. Our team operates between 5am and 10pm weekdays (including our Founder) and need team members that can be empathetic with these schedules and to work with us. And you don’t have to worry about having to make coffee; cleaning, or other menial work – we want you for your talent that will grow with us.

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to assist with marketing either full-time or part-time. For this internship a creative spirit is a must!

Job description:

You will work closely with current staff and founder to support the brand development ambitions in marketing and event projects with creative writing being the focus.

Your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Create content for marketing materials including short posts, long form, website copy, marketing / sales funnel pages, and content for other websites (instagram, linkedin, facebook, clickfunnels, wordpress, etc)
  • Website- update content as needed
  • Articles- rework provided content for articles (maintaining brand voice); cutting long form into smaller content pieces that can be cross posted
  • Newsletters- create content, prepare and schedule weekly
  • Social Media: schedule posts, create content, curate images and/or articles to accompany posts
  • Campaigns – writing copy for ad sets and paid campaigns on social platforms (creating various versions of copy – headline and body text) to support ad campaigns leveraging interns thesis and brand direction
  • ClickFunnels and WordPress – build (drag and drop) sites with content for brand and sales efforts
  • Create internal templates for messaging and communication
  • Other miscellaneous, such as research and creative projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed degrees are NOT required to apply, and we will accept applicants with majors, minors or a strong background in- English, Literature, Creative Writing, or Marketing.
  • Strong creative writing and content development skills, as well as strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Must be flexible to taking on miscellaneous projects and needed to support our team
  • Team player, open to feedback, strong communication skills, desire to learn, self-starter

The ideal candidate is obsessed with social media insights and has a passion for writing copy of all shapes and sizes based on the nuances of each platform, from tweets and captions to editorial articles optimized for LinkedIn – you can capture a person’s voice and translate it to effective, engaging copy. Freelance Video Editor / Animator

Our editors serve a slightly different role than more traditional “video editors” but thankfully none of which involve the term “editing ninja.”

Who are you?
